Welcome back to onsite services! Please take a minute to read the information below to find out what you can expect upon our reopening.


We are grateful that the Ontario government has given Places of Worship permission to gather again in-person. We are closely following the PPH guidelines to ensure your safety and wellbeing. With restrictions beginning to lift in Ontario please take a few moments to read through the information below to find out what you can expect during our onsite service. We will keep you posted with further updates as they become available to us.


SHOULD I WEAR A MASK?

Facemasks are optional. We just ask that you show love, kindness and respect for whatever choice a person makes regarding facemasks.

We will continue to provide facemasks free of charge at the church if you would like one.

WILL THE RESTROOMS BE OPEN?

Yes, our washrooms will be open for use. You will find the men’s and women’s washrooms down the corridor on the left of our lobby plus a wheelchair accessible washroom, and a nursing room for moms with change facilities as well.

WILL THERE BE CHILDCARE?

Children will be required to remain with their parents as we reformulate our children’s programing. We do have Online Bible Lessons available for pre-school, elementary, and youth (grades 6-12) age groups. We post all our Kids church material in our CVC Kids Church Online Facebook group (link below) Children’s gift bags are giving out at each service with activities to help entertain your child during the service.

WHAT WILL PHYSICAL DISTANCING LOOK LIKE?

As of March 1, 2022 Physical distancing measures are no longer in place. We will be opened at full capacity for our in-person services.

HOW WILL THE SEATING PROTOCOL WORK?

You are welcome to sit with family or friends, wherever you are comfortable. Physical distancing is no longer in place.

WILL GREETERS OR USHERS OFFER TO SHAKE MY HAND?

All of our hosts are trained not to offer you a physical greeting.

WILL THERE BE A MEET AND GREET TIME?

At the moment the meet and greet in our gathering is not a part of our worship gathering however we are moving towards safety starting it up again. We will keep you posted.

WILL ONLINE WORSHIP GATHERINGS CONTINUE TO BE OFFERED?

Yes, our Sunday morning service is live streamed at 10:00am on YouTube and Facebook.  You can also view any of our past Sunday services by visiting our YouTube channel.

WILL THE CAFE BE OPEN?

We will have coffee/tea and some fellowship time after service.

WILL THE LIBRARY BE OPEN?

No, our CVC bookstore is currently closed.

HOW WILL WE CELEBRATE COMMUNION?

Congregants will have prepackaged communion cups handed to them by our ushers and greeters before the beginning of the service. Everyone is encouraged to dispose of the packaging in the garbage upon exit. Those viewing from home are encourage to have a cracker, cookie or bread etc. and a drink ready at home so everyone can participate together during communion.

WILL WE HAVE TO PASS THE OFFERING PLATE?

No, there will be no offerings received as part of the worship service. Worshippers are encouraged to continue to give online through Square Link, PayPal or E-Transfer. (link below) Those who would rather give through cheque or cash, can fill out a giving envelope at the Welcome Desk and place it into the drop slot located at the exit of the sanctuary or beside the bookstore. We also have a debit station set up in the lobby if you prefer to give that way.

WILL THERE BE CONGREGATIONAL SINGING?

Yes, we have approximately 20 minutes of worship before the message.

WILL THERE BE A PAPER BULLETIN OR PROGRAM?

Paper bulletins will not be produced or distributed. Instead people will be encouraged to consult our CVC website, the CVC Facebook page, as well as take note of the video announcements before the service. We are working hard to use digital platforms and promote a touch-free experience for you.


We hope this information has helped you as you make plans to join us at Christian Victory Church this Sunday. We will do our very best to ensure that you and your family feel safe and welcome at CVC. Church as we know it will look a little different but it’s so good to be able to gather together again. We can’t wait to see you this Sunday!
