Baptism Service and Luncheon - March 8th, 2020

If you’ve made the decision to follow Jesus, baptism is one of the most meaningful next steps you can take. Baptism is a public celebration of moving from death to life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Many of the people who heard Him believed and were baptized.” – Acts 18:8

One Million Meals Peterborough - April 4, 2020

We are now organizing teams to assemble meals at the Wellness Centre on April 4th. Please note that there is a $60.00 fee per person to participate, which covers the price of the meals. You can do your own fundraising to cover the fee and participate in the Packing Event.

More information about One Million Meals Peterborough:

On April 4th, 2020 at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre we have the opportunity and challenge to package 100,000 highly nutritious meals for people struggling with hunger around the world and right here in our neighbourhoods. This will be our 5th annual event toward our goal of packaging one million meals for people in need.

The goal of this event is to engage the people of Peterborough to make a difference in the lives of others. In order to do this, we will provide and volunteer to package One Million Meals using Kids Against Hunger Canada’s model of food packaging. We would like individuals from various social, religious, sport, scholastic, business and municipal groups to form teams who will engage in friendly competition to assemble as many meals as they can in a two hour period.

This will be a fun, enthusiastic and meaningful opportunity for the citizens of Peterborough to positively impact the lives of others! Won’t you join us for this excellent opportunity to make a major difference in the lives of others?

In order to manage paying for the food we will need everyone’s assistance required in raising the funds. To package 100,000 meals at a cost of 33 cents each requires we raise $33,000.

For 2020, meals will be sent to local food banks, the Canadian far north, Haiti and other countries overseas.
