We believe that men’s ministry is to be sustainable, relevant, and inclusive, and invites men to become servant leaders in their families, churches, workplaces, and communities. The Christian Victory Church (CVC) Fellowship of The Red Bandanna is about men coming together in fellowship in a safe and comfortable environment that is welcoming for every man at CVC, every man away from the church, every man seeking and every man that each of us needs to come alongside! Show up ... Stand up ... Stay up The CVC Fellowship of The Red Bandanna is about a place where we honour men for showing up, together strengthen one another as we stand up and pursue authentic, Christ centered relationships as we stay up. The CVC Fellowship of The Red Bandanna creates the opportunity to connect; the supporting small groups meet men where they are at, capture and build on the connection; the revolving nature of the meetings and regional connections sustain the momentum. The CVC Fellowship of The Red Bandanna meets the fourth Saturday of each month beginning at 8am with breakfast, an opportunity for interaction, a Big Idea and the Next Right Step, and wrapped up by 10am! “ a river without a course is a lake and a lake without a source becomes stagnant, dries up and becomes a hole and guess what?….You can’t dig a better hole by digging the same one deeper.” So men, be encouraged to join us this month. If you are in a hole, we want to help you out and have you join us in an adventure that will help set your course, build relationships, and partake in the wellspring of life that each of us men have available to us in Christ! MEN’S PRAYER MEETING: Bringing Men Together in Faith On the second Saturday of every month, our men meet to pray from 7-8.30am in the main sanctuary. Our mission is to take our place as the church's Prayer Warriors. For too long we have relied on our praying women to drive the prayer life of the church and to uphold its before God. Men, it's time for us to get out of 'La-La Land' and rise to the challenge. We don't meet to chat; we don't meet to drink coffee. It is a time dedicated to holding up our families, our church, our pastors, our community and our nation. Join us as we take hold of the promised land! |
